Status & Outlook of HJT: Kaining Ding, Forschungszentrum Jülich

Описание: Kaining Ding, Head of PV-ThynC Lab at Forschungszentrum Jülich, says he doesn’t believe HJT is dead as some would like to believe. There may be a limited number of players as of now, but the number is set to rise as even some of the largest solar manufacturers with TOPCon or BC focused production are running HJT in pilot lines.
HJT now needs to compete with BC on efficiency and with TOPCon on cost. It has the potential to bring down OpEx and CapEx, he says.
He was speaking on #Day4 of the TaiyangNews annual flagship Virtual Conference on High-Efficiency Solar Technologies. Spread across 4 days, the Conference focused on a different high-efficiency solar technology each day.
