The Pé de Cabril peak, at an altitude of 1236 meters, is one of the highest points in Serra do Gerês and easily recognizable in the distance.
The top is formed by large granite blocks that form a north/south-oriented ridge. Climbing is required to reach the peak, and climbing is easiest on the western slope of the summit.
Rocks, on rocks almost to the clouds, you can observe the river Homem (Albufeira de Vilarinho das Furnas), Albufeira da Caniçada and the surrounding mountain scenery.
