I've been taking it for granted that BMW got it right when they set up the rear suspension on the BMW R1200GS fitted with dynamic suspension. So this little experiment was to take look at how good a job they did with spring tension and preload settings by actually measuring what takes place when we electronically change preload from 1 person to 1 + luggage to 2 people settings. It was interesting to say the least.
