Day two of the 2022 USRowing Masters National Championships concluded with a multitude of close finishes, including photo finishes in the first heat of the men’s and women’s open A double sculls, the women’s open D eight final, and women’s open B double sculls final.
Friday’s feature follows Napoleon Griffin from Texas Rowing Center. He raced the men’s open AA-A quadruple sculls on Thursday and the men’s open AA double sculls on Friday, placing first in heats and third in the final. This weekend may potentially mark the end of his rowing career, as he aspires to go on to pursue a career in the field of mental health.
