Okay. ⁓ as I, ⁓ understand it, there's some confusion in the field about some of the schema, ⁓ issue and GolfNow. ⁓ yes, if you have a GolfNow website, there are lots of schema issues that we've identified and we can talk about those offline. if you don't have a GolfNow website, but you work with GolfNow. So that's thousands of golf courses.

⁓ there's also a problem. And I know that there's some people that are suggesting that that's not the case. This only applies to golf courses using a GolfNow website. That's inaccurate. So let's just share, ⁓ a couple of tabs. We'll go through this and we'll show you guys, what's going on. Okay. So let's go, let's go look for, ⁓ Little Apple golf.

course in Ohio GolfNow And we will find, yeah. So here's the little apple golf course, Belleville, Ohio. Here are their tee times. Okay. And so we're going to click into this and we all love little apple. ⁓ it's a fun place in the middle of Ohio. So then we're going to right click and we're going to go to

And so that opens this tab. So that'll open a new tab and it will be this. It will just be code and this will be about 2,500 lines. So we're just going to copy this whole entire thing. ⁓

And so I copied it and then we're going to go to another tab. And so I'm going to, I'll switch over to this tab and share it with you. Share this tab instead. So this is, if you can see up here, this is validator.schema.org. If that's hard to remember, ⁓ we created a forwarding address. So check my schema.golf. So if that's easier for you to remember, checkmyschema.golf. So anyway, you can,

put a URL in here, but that doesn't work on a GolfNow page. Uh, so you have to the code in. So you're going to, it'll, I think it'll default to fetch you a URL, but we're going to click into code snippet. We're going to paste that long thing that we just copied. And then we're just going to hit run test. And it's super quick. Um, I always tell people like good job using schema properly, uh, meaning you're using golf course schema.

That's wonderful. There's very few people that use golf course schema today. And we were supportive. It's like we said about the PGA of America. They use golf course schema on some of their pages. The difference is, uh, in this little node, if you will, that this, this section of, of schema, um, GolfNow, uh, tells us that the phone number is this 1 800. I got to put my glasses on. Sorry.

seven, six, seven, three, five, seven, four. Well, that's the GolfNow number. That's not little Apple's phone number. And so little Apple does not use a GolfNow website. ⁓ Lightspeed is their tee sheet. They use GolfNow for their website booking engine or website itself is built by a local, you know, a vendor. ⁓ but this is still happening to them on GolfNow.

And so I just want to confirm this is bigger than just GolfNow websites. And you know, why, why do we care about this? Well, you know, this confuses, ⁓ search crawlers and, and, bots and, theoretically could even find its way into AI answers. We know that AI crawlers love schema, especially schema, ⁓ set up in a semantic way that makes it really fast and easy for the bots to read and understand.

And, ⁓ this is not good. This is not good. ⁓ you should ask GolfNow to stop doing this to you. and, so, then if, if a GolfNow rep or someone reaches out to you and says, this doesn't apply to you. You've got nothing to worry about. It applies to every golf course on GolfNow.com until they fix it. And who knows, maybe they'll fix all these by the end of today, but this applies to the.

you know, their biggest, most important customers. And it applies to the little guy. They're doing it to everybody. ⁓ so if somebody tells you like, Hey, this isn't this, nah, nah, nah, that's noise. And that's, know, no, this is happening. It's been happening and it needs to stop.
