This is a Hong Kong film based on a true story and released in 1993. It tells the story of Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Tai Chi. Zhang Sanfeng and his best friend were expelled from Shaolin Temple and involved in a battle between the brutal government and the rebels. The rebels were massacred due to the betrayal of Zhang's best friend. Zhang lost himself in the tragic defeat, but he eventually realized 'Tai Chi' from Shaolin Kung Fu and Taoist thought, defeated the powerful government rulers, and Tai Chi became one of the top Chinese Kung Fu that has influenced the world to this day.
Jet Li is known as the 'Kung Fu Emperor' and is the world's most famous super Kung Fu movie star. Michelle Yeoh made Oscar history in 2023, becoming the first Asian to win the Best Actress award at the 95th Academy Awards.
