This video is the start point for "Gothi School", In this series we will meander our way through the major roles and duties of the Asatru Gothi. The duties, practices and techniques that I will discuss are ones that have worked for me in my own practice. This is in no way an attempt at creating dogma in the Asatru community. Take what works in your practice and discard what you don't like or doesn't work for you, because you are on your own path. This role is one of paramount importance to the Asatru or Norse Pagan Kindred. All too often the new Gothi is thrown into the role, eager to serve, but confused about the task. I will dissect the role of the Gothar and offer some training recommendations to help the new kindred clergy excel in that role. There are of course, a few pay to play training programs and other learning models for Asatru Clergy. This is not meant replace any other training modules. If you are already Godard or in training for another organization this series is not meant to replace, but to supplement the information from your organization.
