Dug this compact mix out of my closet which I made on my bedroom decks 20+ years ago...this mix features some of the most iconic and popular trance, EDM, and high-NRG tracks that defined the early 2000’s. I jokingly titled it "Killed by the Radio" as a nod to how these massive hits actually started getting radio play in the United States (which was pretty cool as Trance/EDM was breaking into the mainstream in the early 2000's). — as someone who grew up on alternative radio in the 90's, I saw exciting parallels as the next underground gem made it into the mainstream consensus...
I asked Audrey to put together some art to accompany this set— she put together a nice little storyboard about a girl and a space monkey...
