Watch a live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket from California with 24 optimized Starlink v2 Mini internet satellites. Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, at 9:31 a.m. PDT (12:31 p.m. EDT / 1631 UTC).
The first-stage booster, tail number B1088, making its 10th flight, will land on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' nearly 8.5 minutes into the flight.
The Starlink 17-12 mission will head out across the Pacific Ocean on a southerly trajectory upon departure from Vandenberg.
Live commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now's Will Robinson-Smith starting about 30 minutes prior to launch.
