On a whim, I decided to try and make sour cream with some left over heavy cream that I had in the fridge. And we check up on the carrots that I layered into a bucket with dirt a month ago.
Azure Standard (buy food in bulk with a local drop point):

Sour Cream Recipe:
1 cup heavy cream
2 tsp white distilled vinegar
1. Shake to combine the two ingredients in a glass jar
2. Secure a piece of cheesecloth or fabric with a rubber band or canning ring.
3. Set aside for 24 hours
4. Check it up, if there is any separation just stir it up
5. Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks
