1)Alfred Benhard Nobel:
We know dynamite helps us in many ways.
Sir Alfred Benhard became a noble man in an explosive environment.
2)An Italian scientist discovered a chemical called nitroglycerin. Nitroglycerin is prepared by mixing glycerol with nitric acid and fuming sulfuric acid.
3)This nitroglycerin explodes violently when slightly injured or heated
4)Alfred Benhard Nobel wanted a substance that would not explode rapidly on contact with nitroglycerin and would be very easy to transport from one place to another.
5)He found a substance called Kieselgar very useful in this regard. He made blasting guillotine by mixing nitroglycerine with nitrocellulose.
6) Later he developed more advanced explosives, ballistite and cordite gunpowder. Rediscovered dynamite.
7)Author Alfred Benhard Nobel donated all his life savings to philanthropy. From his money, the Swedish Academy awards the Nobel Prize every year.
