It is the most peaceful things you'll ever experience. We took a 10 hours kerala canoe backwaters tour and started almost at sunrise. The morning was so serene and the weather was beautiful. If you're taking a trip to india in 2021, then definitely add Kerala to the list, especially Alleppey. Alleppey is also known as Alappuzaha, so just in case you get confused. We did our Tours with Kerala Canoe and they have a bunch of different options to choose from. I am glad I chose the Canoe+Shikara option as it was a more intimate experience with the backwaters as opposed to the houseboat.

If you only have 24 hours in alleppey, then I suggest you experience the real and true Kerala through the kerala canoe backwaters sunrise tour.
