Here water is explained on a molecular level to generate a better understanding of its properties. Sine water is a polar molecule it has more structure than other liquids which in part give it some of the unique properties.
Adhesion and cohesion is discussed with images to show each to hopefully make it more memorable. In addition surface tension and specific heat are explained.
The difference between a hydrophilic and hydrophobic substance is shown in relation to a water droplet.
