and a weaker rand, the trend has been up, up, up with many calling fuel prices in South Africa a growing serious crisis. It has a huge impact on the lives of motorists, taxi passengers, and retailers who - due to the state of rail - are often transporting goods by road.
Of course, the price of fuel impacts the agricultural sector.
With farmers facing a myriad of other challenges as well. Crop estimates have just been released for summer 2022. This brings us to a discussion about the outlook with many worried about food security.
