Junior doctors - now called resident doctors - are threatening to strike again.
The British Medical Association is balloting its 50,000 members for fresh strike acion that would last until January 2026.
They want a 29% pay rise which they say will bring their pay back to what it was worth in 2008.
Earlier this year resident doctors were awarded an average rise of 5.4% and this is on top of the 22% pay rise they were given by Wes Streeting weeks into him becoming Health Secretary last summer.
According to Streeting the average starting salary for a full-time resident doctor is now around £38,800.
