Описание: This is a cab view of the Tokyo Monorail's Haneda Airport Line, which was built as an access route to Haneda Airport, which has long served as Tokyo's leading international airport.

This line opened in 1964, dramatically improving access to the airport, which previously relied on buses and other means. The line was built in an area primarily lined with warehouses along a canal. At the time of its opening, there were no passengers other than airport users. However, the population along the line has gradually grown, and several stations have been added.

In recent years, there have been plans to improve Hamamatsucho Station and extend the line further from there toward Tokyo Station, but given the area's already densely built-up area, it appears that these plans will take some time to move forward. In particular, the single-track nature of Hamamatsucho Station, the terminus of this video, has long been a concern, preventing any further expansion of capacity. It will be interesting to see how this progresses.

From Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station, the southern terminal, there is a tunnel section for some distance, which we have omitted from this video. Photographed in October 2025
