Mercenaries Playground of Destruction | Any% PB

Описание: Wow, did not expect to cut this much time off of my old PB. Escargot called this a long time ago back when I got my last PB. He said he thought I was on the cusp of cutting a huge amount of time off my PB and either getting WR or getting close to it. I thought he was crazy, but here we are only 20 seconds away from WR. You can't really hear me in the recap so I'll do a full recap below in the following format

Man what a terrible Ante Up. I actually went in at 3:09 which is pretty good for me, but the actual mission went terribly. I think I got really unlucky shooting at the two and that caused a few separate timelosses. Maybe I was shooting too high but IIRC you want to shoot slightly above their head so I don't think so

9, 10, 7 of clubs

Pretty good RNG but lost a few seconds at the 10. The 7 was very clean. Got the quick exit, not too unhappy with this split

Stem the Tide

Honestly I'm a bit surprised I got fast spawns, I didn't think I did amazingly at the N checkpoint. Those fast spawns did most of the heavy lifting for the big timesave here

Foothold

I'm surprised I got so close to gold here, I had to walk quite a ways to get to the truck. Trying new things here because I've died to the crash landing a few times recently

Gimme my Money

This should not have gone as well as it did. Looking back I made a bad decision trying to go for the three point fling after the crate hit another helo, but I'm happy it turned out well. I think a lot of the timeloss here was actually from the 5. No idea why he skedaddled

Pest Control

Could save a second or so destroying the museum here, the 8 went pretty much perfectly so I think that's where the gold came from

Bait and Switch

Lost more time than I thought on this mission. I'm not sure where the mafia guy went at the start of the mission, that lost a second or two. The clear actually went pretty well but I didn't do the fast walk for some reason and I missed the quick load so plenty of time to save here.

Also, the run should have been dead here. I'm amazed I got the skip considering the mafia guy turned around

TURN AN NEUTRAL

Oh man this one hurts, lost 6 seconds for no good reason. The AN was already neutral going into this split

Guns of Kirin-Do

I don't think I've come close to my gold since I came back, I must have totally YOLO'ed the landing in my gold on this split. I felt like it went well here

8, Repo Man

I used to go for a quick exit going into the NK Heli so I think that's where some of the timeloss here is. The heli was also a bit damaged so I parked farther away going into the SK HQ

Clear Channel

Very clean Clear Channel, could have been a little faster transitioning from destroying the second tent into the ammo box

The Acid Queen + Cards

A little slow at the 10, a little slow getting the ammo box to finish off the chemical plant, missed the quick load. Overall pretty happy with this split

The Ace of Spades

Bad humvee RNG, forgot to wait for heli debris to land before I went after Song's body

Stats for nerds: This took 8 completed runs and around 125 attempts with a current counter of 20/221. It also took about 20 hours of attempts with a playtime of 1d 19h 36m. Sum of best has gone down over 30 seconds since my last PB with a current sum of best of 31:41
