How to make a custom Kydex Knife Sheath

Описание: In this video I'll be a making a custom kydex knife sheath for a fillet knife. First I will cut the pieces for the sheath, put them in an oven at 350 degrees F. for about four minutes. After the kydex is heated I place it in a kydex press, set the knife in the kydex and press it until it is cooled. Then the sheath is marked for eyelet holes, drilled and eyelets pressed. The sheath is then trimmed to size on a bandsaw, sanded to shape on a 2x72 belt grinder then the edges are buffed. Then the cam is set using a heat gun making the knife easily go in and out of the sheath. The sheath is cleaned and lightly oiled ready for use.
