In this video, I’m sharing a game-changing technique to flip samples across keys, creating bridges and dynamic sections in your beats. This idea was inspired by the legendary RZA and the innovative approaches he used in tracks like Liquid Swords. While my technique is a modern twist (and something I haven’t seen widely used by other producers), it’s all about building on the foundation laid by the greats.

*****EDIT****. While I initially thought RZA used a pitch-shifting technique in Liquid Swords, I need to make an important correction: it turns out the track actually loops an 8-bar section of Willie Mitchell’s "Groovin'." My mistake—I’ve been listening to RZA’s production all my life and overlooked this detail while researching similar techniques. Shout out to ‪@showbread9366‬ & ‪@osheasheets2146‬ for pointing this out to me.
