While visiting CT this summer, I ended up doing a quick vocal session at a nearby recording studio. As I was leaving, I spotted this beat-up, dusty acoustic guitar hanging in the back and figured nobody cared about it. When I asked to borrow it for a few hours, the studio owner laughed and told me it was actually a pre-war Martin worth thousands, but he still let me borrow it, and I already knew which song I wanted to play on it...
I’m sure I didn’t do this guitar justice (please don't grill me!) but I still had to give it a shot...
so here it is, missed notes and all - my best attempt at Joni’s iconic song.
