LinkedIn is a social networking platform. It is literally designed for networking and yet SO MANY people create a profile and just let it lie. You would never do that on your Instagram or Facebook account, so why do it on LinkedIn?

Or people do network on LInkedIn but they go about it all wrong. You can’t just cold email someone and ask for a job or tell them about a business opportunity. You wouldn’t walk up to someone at a party and do that, so why do you think you can approach people that way on LinkedIn?
