9.13.24 | by Adam | 68pct | BAY RIDGE BROOKLYN - A cyclist was fatally struck by a Dodge Challenger who stayed on the scene. It happened 250am Friday eastbound on the belt parkway before the VZ bridge. That is where a Dodge Challenger struck a bicyclist and remained on the scene. First responders performed CPR on the victim on scene and rushed the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Highway units were on scene investigating. 1 lane remained open eastbound (towards VZ) and all lanes were closed westbound (towards Manhattan)
