DIY 3D Printed Mask: Painting a Realistic Zombie Skull for Cosplay & Halloween

In this video, I'm taking you through the full creative process of how I made my incredible, creepy custom mask! This isn't just a store-bought prop—this Zombie Skull Mask was designed, 3D printed, and then meticulously hand-painted by me, just in time for a Halloween / spooky season build.
Watch as I show you the time-lapse of the 3D printing process, the steps I took to prep the plastic (sanding, priming!), and all the painting techniques I used to achieve that realistic, weathered, bone-and-decay look. I used a mix of colors to give it that eerie, sickly greenish-brown and red finish, perfect for a haunting ghoul or grim reaper costume.
I'm so happy with how this project turned out, especially when paired with the hooded cloak—it really makes the mask look terrifying!
