Garbage Trucks - Burrtec of the Desert Mega Compilation

Описание: Even though this is certainly not the first compilation like this nor will it be the last, I thought it would be cool to share the footage I got from two separate trips out to the Palm Desert area, first in December of 2019 with Alex and most recently this past December with Axel and Lucas. Each time I went I went with low expectations but ended up walking away having seen a plethora of some of the fleet's oldest trucks. My favorite part about this compilation is that all but two trucks (I'll let you guess) I believe are ex-WM, ranging from early 90s to early 2000s. Due to WM's original fleet being mostly natural gas or later converted, that gave those trucks a much higher life expectancy than other fleets of the same time period. To me, one of the most interesting things about Burrtec of the Desert is the fact that they kept the original numbering on all the old WM trucks, and still number their newly acquired trucks in WM number fashion to this day, despite being quite far behind in the sequence.
