This video shows my techno sound design workflow using phone recorded sounds.
I record everyday noises with my phone and transform them into experimental techno textures using Ableton Live.
The focus of this video is field recording, creative processing, and heavy use of Grain Delay to mutate raw sounds into moving, evolving elements that fit into a techno track.
If you don’t know where to find sounds for experiments, record your own environment and apply sound design techniques.
Every person has a unique sonic environment, and that makes the final result unique.
