Serwaa a beautiful and naïve village girl is sent to the city to further her education and to serve her upwardly mobile aunty and her family. Her auntie’s husband (Papa) works towards a merger with his business partner (Mr. Owusu) and hopes that the deal will be firmly sealed when his daughter (Ohemaa) dates his business partner’s son; (Kobby) the lofty plans get thrown out of the window when Kobby falls madly in love with Serwaa and Ohemaa finds love in a struggling university student who repairs mobile phones to keep body and soul together. Meanwhile Big Mama; the maid who served in the house for years sees Serwaa’s presence as a threat that she must scheme to defeat. Serwaa’s naivety becomes the only asset she has to navigate the treachery and betrayal she is up against.
