Opening with Universal Studios Florida in 1990, Kongfrontation quickly became a fan-favorite. Guests were transported straight into the streets of New York City, where chaos erupted as King Kong climbed through skyscrapers, shook the tram, and left riders face-to-face with one of the largest animatronics ever built. The attraction closed in 2002 to make way for Revenge of the Mummy, but it still holds a special place in the hearts of theme park fans.
