Girl with Autism Runs Away- Eloping Caught on Nest Camera

Описание: #Eloping is what it's called when someone with #Autism runs away. Yesterday our daughter with autism eloped and it was terrifying, but thankfully our #NestCamera caught her elopement and sent a notification that someone was on our porch.

But she still had quite the head start.

Yesterday was one of the scariest days of my entire life, because Maggie eloped again by pushing her way through the window after removing the screen while I was making dinner fifteen feet away. She had a thirty second head start which meant she was nearly a block ahead of me.

We live about a block from the highway. So it was a pretty scary day, even though our safeguards worked the way they were supposed to. I hope that we never ever get to the point where we're using out last safeguard again (the cameras are only supposed to work if everything else fails).
