I Should’ve Studied… Instead I Built an AI Surveillance System

Описание: I built an AI-powered surveillance system during my university finals.

Instead of studying like a normal person, I created a system that:
– Watches live camera feeds
– Detects vehicles using AI
– Extracts structured data (make, model, color, etc.)
– Stores everything in a real database
– Visualizes it all in a Next.js dashboard

The backend is written in Python, the frontend is built with Next.js, and everything is connected through Supabase.

This isn’t a movie-style surveillance system — it’s a real, working architecture that can scale to things like parking garages, gas stations, car washes, and more.

⚠️ Real-world testing was done responsibly:
– License plates and faces are blurred
– This project is for educational purposes only

More upgrades are coming, including:
– Custom-trained models
– Better camera setups
– Real environment deployments
