حضرت ابوبکر صدیقؓ کا پہلا خطبہ (آسان اردو)
“اے لوگو!
مجھے تم پر حاکم مقرر کیا گیا ہے، حالانکہ میں تم میں سب سے بہتر نہیں ہوں۔
اگر میں اچھا کام کروں تو میری مدد کرنا، اور اگر میں غلطی کروں تو مجھے سیدھا کر دینا۔
سچ امانت ہے اور جھوٹ خیانت ہے۔
تم میں کمزور میرے نزدیک طاقتور ہے، یہاں تک کہ میں اس کا حق دلا دوں،
اور تم میں طاقتور میرے نزدیک کمزور ہے، یہاں تک کہ میں اس سے دوسروں کا حق لے لوں۔
کوئی قوم اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد چھوڑ دیتی ہے تو اللہ اس پر ذلت مسلط کر دیتا ہے،
اور جب کسی قوم میں بے حیائی عام ہو جاتی ہے تو اللہ ان پر عمومی عذاب نازل فرما دیتا ہے۔
جب تک میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کی اطاعت کرتا رہوں، تم میری اطاعت کرو،
اور اگر میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کی نافرمانی کروں تو تم پر میری اطاعت لازم نہیں۔
آؤ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہو جاؤ، اللہ تم پر رحم فرمائے۔”

“O people!
I have been appointed as your leader, even though I am not the best among you.
If I do what is right, help me; and if I make a mistake, correct me.
Truth is a trust, and lying is a betrayal.
The weak among you is strong in my sight until I give him his right,
and the strong among you is weak in my sight until I take the rights of others from him.
When a nation abandons striving in the path of Allah, Allah places humiliation upon it.
And when immorality becomes common in a nation, Allah sends a general punishment upon them.
As long as I obey Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, obey me.
But if I disobey Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, then you do not have to obey me.
Come, stand up for prayer. May Allah have mercy on you.”
