There are many media players you can use – OnlyM, Windows Media Player, etc. However, I have not found anything as stable as VLC Media Player. The pwoblem with using it in Zoom is that you either have to play it full screen, or have all of their nasty decoration around it. This video helps you to reduce the clutter to a top move bar.
If you are using a second monitor with Zoom, then you will want to choose Display2 (or whatever your second monitor shows as) in the DirectX monitor selection, and choose Full Screen Video Output in the Video section.
