Ford Capri and Escort MKII Group 5 by Zakspeed in Action! - 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Описание: The Ford Capri Group 5 by Zakspeed and the Ford Escort MKII, also transformed group 5 by Zakspeed, took part at 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It was the first time I saw them live and I was impressed, especially the Capri, capable of over 480hp from its small 1.400cc Turbo engine. In 1981 this car won the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft title. Not least the Escort, which is strong 2.0 liter able to develop 300hp. Driven by Hans Heyer won the title in the same championship but for a couple of seasons in the late 70s.

La Ford Capri Gruppo 5 by Zakspeed e la Ford Escort MKII, anche lei trasformata gruppo 5 sempre da Zakspeed hanno preso parte all'edizione 2018 del Goodwood Festival of Speed. Era la prima volta che le vedevo dal vivo e mi hanno impressionato, specialmente la Capri, capace di ben 480cv dal suo piccolo motore da 1.400cc Turbo. Nel 1981 questa vettura conquistò il Deutsche Rennsport Meistershaft title. Non da meno la Escort, che forte di circa 300cv, guidata da Hans Heyer, conquisto il titolo nello stesso campionato ma precedentemente alla Capri per un paio di stagioni alla fine degli anni 70.
