Y'all voted for it, and I'm pleased to present the special Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary Montage!

It should go without saying how much this franchise means to me. I mean, Mario is my main and I've made it abundantly clear in his montage how important he is to me. And the same is true for the franchise as a whole. There's a lot of things in my life that have helped to shape and define the person I am today. But among the Top 3 on that list, the Super Mario Bros. franchise rankings among them.

To help celebrate the legacy, impact, and how much this franchise means to me, I give you the montage you see before you. Smash might not classify some of these fighters as being a part of the greater Mario franchise, but I think we all know that in spite of that, they're a Mario character at heart. As such, Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Dr. Mario, Wario, Diddy Kong, Rosalina & Luma, Bowser Jr., Princess Daisy, King K. Rool, and Piranha Plant are all here in this montage on full display for y'all to view and enjoy.

(Sorry Koopaling fans. I wasn't going to include all of them since if I did, y'all would have to sit through 28 extra clips of 'em. As they're all confined as alternate costumes, only Jr. is here to represent 'em. Maybe some other time.)

I really hope y'all like this montage. While it may not be my longest video (which is super surprising, might I add), it certainly required a lot of energy and time to produce. With 14 characters in this montage, most of whom got 4 clips of them, on top of specially chosen music tracks for their segments, a lot of planning went into this one, with some cuts and changes having to be done. I might not have been able to create what I originally envisioned, but I am nonetheless proud of the video I created and certainly hope it's an enjoyable watch.

That just about does it for this description. A few updates from my end. First off, we reached 400 subscribers!!! Thank you all so much for helping me reach this milestone! I was stuck in the 300s for a few months following the end of last year, but that count rose once I made the Donkey Kong and King K. Rool sequel montages. To all the newcomers, welcome! I hope you enjoy the content the channel has to offer. And to my longtime viewers, thank you all so much for the continued support. Y'all are the reason I put out these videos and I wouldn't be where I'm at without ya.

As tradition goes, I shall be making a new montage for the 400 Subscriber Special, which will be a montage featuring all of the newcomers to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS (or Sm4sh for short). Expect the video to come around New Year's Eve. It'll certainly take quite some time to get that completed, as some of my worst characters are the Sm4sh newcomers. But in spite of that, I'm sure I'll be able to craft up something that y'all will enjoy. Hope y'all look forward to seeing that, as well as other montages to come in the future.
