Smart Input Device for PLC using Python, Webcam and USB Relay

Описание: This video shares a simple inspection system developed by using python, USB relay and webcam. The system is attached with a USB relay that can be connected to PLC input and serves as an alternative way to expand python capabilities into "old" PLC models. The coding uses SSIM to compare captured image and reference image. The difference is saved as another red-plotted image. In the event of detection, the USB relay will switch ON.

This system is tested working on Python 2 and 3.

Ensure that you already PIP install required libraries.
