modifications:
tape mod, 3 layers
the tape mod does wonders for this keyboard, making it sound much more appealing. beforehand, it just sounds extremely hollow and deep, as expected with an all plastic chassis. the stock keycaps are surprisingly nice, although the profile is not quite cherry. the costar stabilizers are also a pain to lube but are fine otherwise. overall, not bad at a $170 price tag but if you're willing to go to a smaller layout, the bakeneko will have much better and more customizable sound for a cheaper price
