Take your students on a virtual field trip to a sunflower farm! During this interactive field trip, John Swanson and Kevin Capistran, Minnesota sunflower farmers will share the different types of sunflowers, explain their life cycle, and show how they are planted, grown, and harvested. Students will also learn how sunflowers connect to the food we eat, the role and why Minnesota farmers grow sunflowers. This is a 30 min virtual field trip targeted to K-5 students.
