I visited the Druids Cave in Birchover England I like this place a lot because it has a lot of history and is peaceful most of the time.
The druids cave dates back to the Bronze Age, so around 3300 BC to 1200 BC. The area has been popular over time but it is still a secret to many as they are unaware what lies in the forest. The local village of Birchover is even mentioned in books from the 10th century.
Most of the carvings on the rocks are from a priest, Reverend Thomas Eyre, who was also a druid and was also practicing other crafts at the site in the 17th century.
Two of the caves were caverns built by a man named Thomas Eyre. There are quite a few examples of carved names from the 1800s on some of the rocks that I managed to capture on camera.
