One of the biggest issues in the Nigerian elections is electricity, or rather the lack of it.

For decades the country has suffered from chronic shortages of power, and repeated promises to fix the problem have long been a staple of election campaigns.

But private sector funding may be the way out, as Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips reports from the commercial capital Lagos. (14 Apr 2011)
