Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announces that the Strait of Hormuz is closed, choking a vital route for global trade. With the Middle East war raging on, those working on ships nearby are now trapped in the Gulf and exposed. “Every day on the ship, I can see missile launches and hear explosions, making me feel like I am in danger," Wang Shang, a sailor on a tanker in the area, tells AFP.
