Hey guys,

Here's another little instrumental live loop guitar cover that I put together, since people seemed to like the last one! This time, another pop cover of Halsey's beautiful track, 'Without Me'. These covers aren't perfect, but I'm trying to force myself to put them out, nonetheless.

For the gear nerds, this is my new custom SineWave Cyn-Drive, 100 watt amplifier, with some new power tubes and a new wonderful speaker from Tone Tubby since the last video - the 80 watt Tone Tubby Amsterdam. Man is this a cool speaker! Since a few of the tubes got damaged in transit and were humming, I opted to change the preamp tube in V1, and put in a new matched quad of short-bottle 6L6GC tubes from Tung Sol, in the power section. And these things sound immense! The midrange is just stunning, and the amp is super quiet, too. You're listening to nothing more than the guitar straight into the amp's overdrive channel, set for a very light drive. I have a Boss RC-30 looper and the Boss Waza Craft dm-2w analogue delay in the loop, and a TC Spark Mini, acting as a line-level boost

It's mic'd with a trio of sE microphones - a V7 dynamic and sE 5 small-diaphragm condenser up close on the speaker, and a Z5600a II tube large-diaphragm condenser a little further back. Since I had so many preamp tubes I swapped the stock tube in the mic with a JJ ECC81. And it's really the perfect fit - smoothed out highs, and warmer lows and mids. Love it!
