Welcome to the 2023 Texas EMS Conference and our interview series "Between Two Topiaries".
Our first guest is Captain Amber Price from our Community Health Paramedic (CHP) program. Amber specializes in working with persons experiencing homelessness. Our CHPs work as navigators assisting their clients in getting connected to the existing resources in Austin to improve their quality of life.
Amber is the originator of our Pop Up Resource Clinics (PURC) for the homeless which was born out of an idea that she had back in 2017 to assist multiple clients that she was working with by bringing resources out to the areas they were located.
Join us as we bring you chats from several of our employees representing several of the areas that #ATCEMS provides other than just simply being a medic on an ambulance.
