GAASAM అనేది 1990ల చివరి కాలంలో తెలంగాణ గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతంలో జరిగే ఒక హృదయాన్ని తాకే భావోద్వేగ కథ.
ఆహారంపై అమితమైన ఇష్టమున్న 14 సంవత్సరాల బాలుడు, తన తండ్రి చేసిన అప్పుల కారణంగా, ఆ అప్పును తీర్చడానికి ఒక జమీందార్ వద్ద బానిసగా పని చేయాల్సి వస్తుంది.
ఆకలి, అప్పు, బాల్యం కోల్పోయిన బాధ మధ్య… ప్రతి శ్వాస కూడా అతనికి ఒక భారంగా మారుతుంది.
