Описание: Until now there has not been a quantitative way of measuring seated posture for wheelchair users. Dr. Hirose from Japan's Research Institute of the National Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities has been developing new ways to improve people's assistive equipment. By capturing 3-dimensional data using the FaroArm, Dr. Hirose can determine the seated position of a person, thus being able to develop custom built wheelchairs.
