In 2012, Everton and its official charity, Everton in the Community, created history by becoming the first Club community scheme in the country to be awarded funding to open a Free School.
Everton Free School caters for young people aged 14-16 and offers an alternative path to education for those who have been failed by traditional methods in mainstream schools.
