Uncertainty generates fear. Imagine if we served a God who is like our inconsistent selves: forgetting and changing our purposes, and breaking our promises. It would be terrifying. There would be no anchor to rely on in this ever changing world. But the God we serve does not show up late. He does not alter his words. Neither does he forget or revoke his covenant. Come to His presence in the strength of His sure words and praise.
