John Chapter 16 Verse 7 (Amplified Version)
7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

^^^This is Gods promise to us. Jesus ascended into heaven but He didn't leave us on our own. He left the Holy Spirit (Gods Spirit) to be here WITH us and to live IN us and BE PART OF us.^^^

The Word of God says that WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21) so feel free to use this simple prayer (its THAT EASY)

God, I am calling on You. Thank you for the sacrifice that Jesus made for me by dying on the cross and taking the punishment for all of my wrong doings and thank you for the freedom that Jesus provided to me by rising up from the grave and giving me access to victory and forgiveness. Lord Jesus, I believe that you took the pain of the cross to give me new life. I ask for your peace and joy to enter into heart. I confess that I am a sinner -- that I have gone my own way and have done wrong. Please forgive me as I receive you now as my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Help me to follow you and to serve you all my life. Thank you, Lord. Amen
