I think for a lot of Beatles fans, and for the Beatles and Apple as well, that the Beatles and their music etc. live on forever. Seems Apple and the Beatles are trying to find the best way to make that happen by courting younger fans. Which is fine. The latest effort, in the form of a sort of scavenger hunt for postcards featuring the actors portraying the Beatles in the Sam Mendes Beatles Biopics, was an excellent idea. Helping folks to interact with the Beatles and get to know them and their story is key IMO. Good start.
