It turns out that soon after being cast in Bridgerton, its stars Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor were invited to have a six-week crash course on the Regency lifestyle. Their timetable was packed with horse riding, etiquette training, dance rehearsals and what not! And it definitely helped them to get into characters.

The steamy scenes on Bridgerton were heavily choreographed just like stunts – or dances. Jonathan Bailey’s first day on set was more thrilling than he expected, and so it was for the lead actors as well. Nicola Coughlan didn’t read the Bridgerton books before being cast for the role of Penelope, but then she read all of them. She shared that the level of detail in Bridgerton was simply insane!

Each episode of Bridgerton cost around 5 million pounds to make! For Daphne alone, there were 104 costume pieces made. The eye-catching ensembles were created more luxurious than they were in the Regency times, and they used modern fabrics.
