Josélia Neves is a teacher and researcher at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, where she coordinates the Master of Affordable Communication and Research Unit Inclusion and Accessibility in Action (iACT). She has a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures and has a doctorate in audiovisual translation and a post-doctoral inclusive communication in cultural contexts. Since 2000 has been developing projects in the area of affordable communication with different partners working in the fields of media, film production, performing arts, tourism, museology and education. In all developed projects assume the solutions to groups with special needs in an inclusive perspective, removing barriers and promoting multimodal and multisensory solutions.
