What is a shimmy?

In this sfv tutorial I will demonstrate the shimmy, which is the act of tricking your opponent into thinking you are going to throw them, then punishing their attempt to tech the throw.

These sfv tips will help you practice the shimmy, which is a counter to both wake up invincible attacks and to the delayed throw tech. This is why you will see Pros use the shimmy so often in tournaments.
